Satan is Not Your Friend

Satan is Not Your Friend

“I do not know why Christian people intentionally entangle themselves with the enemy. You know what you are doing is not pleasing in the Lord’s eyesight, yet you still get yourself all entangled with satan’s foolishness. If you don’t know, then let me tell you loud and clear, satan is not your friend. I repeat, satan is not your friend! When we entangle ourselves with satan, he does nothing but make our lives a living hell. Nothing ever good comes from dealing with the enemy because his sole purpose of roaming this earth is to still, kill and destroy your testimony by any means. When we entangle ourselves with satan, he causes a ripple effect in our lives. For example, when I got married, I still wanted to do things my way. I didn’t believe in communication.”

You Know…

You Know…

“When you go to God in prayer, you don’t need to go into a full dissertation. You just go straight to what you need. I think sometimes we forget that God knows everything about us, He just wants us to develop an intimate relationship with Him. Do you have an intimate relationship with our Father or are you that Christian in name only? You don’t really pray unless there is a need. You can never find time to read and understand His word. You are too busy to come to Bible class. In fact, you barely have time to worship Him on Sunday’s. You are the Christian that has a checklist that you must follow and there is a spot that says “go to church “ and you put a check by that item on your list, then go on to the next item on your check list. Does this sound like you…”

Does Christ Really Know You?

Does Christ Really Know You?

“What is a true friend? The dictionary says a friend is a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection with. Let’s look at the key words for a friend. It says you know the person and you have a bond with that person. Now let’s look at synonyms for the word friend… companion, best friend, close friend, intimate, confidante, familiar, soul mate, shadow. There are more words but let’s stop there. So if you are truly a born again Christian, you said yes to God’s will for your life. You decided to turn your back on worldly gain for Kingdom gain. Does He really know you or are you one that He has to look for?”

Here I Am, Send Me!

Here I Am, Send Me!

“This scripture resonates with me because I’ve heard the voice of God calling me to do more for His Kingdom. As everyone probably knows, I am a singer and I love to sing. It doesn’t have to be on a stage, it can be anywhere and I will breakout singing songs of Zion. This is one part of my life, but I heard Him say more, so I created a forum for the women at my church and the surrounding area who would like to interact with God’s word each morning. Then I heard Him again say more…”

Protect Your Temple

Protect Your Temple

“When you said YES to Salvation, you said yes to the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Your choice to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior means that you belong to God the Father. When you are a part of the children of God, you rely on the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you in every aspect of your life. By the Holy Spirit dwelling in you, you must be careful that you are not quenching the Holy Spirit by what you allow to enter your space.”

Don’t Worry About Tomorrow

Don’t Worry About Tomorrow

“It’s not good to worry if you call yourself a child of God. What should we do when life throws us a curveball? We should simply go to God in prayer. The word of God says, “Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you.” Our God loves us and doesn’t want us to suffer. He doesn’t want us to be afraid. He doesn’t want us to be troubled by anything. That’s why when Matthew wrote this passage of scripture, he wanted us to know that we should not worry about tomorrow because it has its own troubles.”

Are You Sold Out for Jesus?

Are You Sold Out for Jesus?

“Yesterday we talked about following God’s purpose for our life. We know that when you take care of God’s business, He will take care of your business.

There is no friend greater or mightier than the God we serve. I can say this because I have made up in my mind that for God I live and for God I die. I know there is no one like the God I have given my life to. I have laid down my will for His will. I have accepted His commandments, and decided to obey whatever He wants me to do in my life. A few years ago I told the Lord that I wanted to understand the scripture and be able to retain verses to memory. He has been working with me on my request, because He knows that I love Him with my whole heart. He knows that I love what He loves and hate what He hates. He knows that I am sold out for Him. Does Christ know that you are sold out for Him?”

My Father’s Business

My Father’s Business

“People ask me why do I keep going and going and going like the Duracell bunny and my answer is simple, it is because I love the Lord. He has done So much for me and my family that I cannot tell it all. My favorite scripture says, “I must work the works of Him who sent me while it is day because when night comes, no man can work.” I must do all I can do right now while I have breath in my body. I want to be pleasing to the Lord right now in my life because I’ve wasted too much time already. How many of you can say that you’ve wasted too much time? Wasted time doing things your way instead of God’s way…”

Go & Be BOLD

Go & Be BOLD

“I hope you know that you were not chosen to be set a part so you could sit down and do nothing. No! When God chose you, He had a purpose for you and that was to glorify Him and go and tell someone else about the Good News. You were chosen to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So my question to you is are you fulfilling the call that was placed on your life or are you giving the Lord excuses why you can’t do it right now?”

He Is My Everything

He Is My Everything

“There is no one like the Lord God Almighty. You can look as far as the east is from the west, still you will find no one like Him. He is many things to many people, so let’s talk about who He is to me. If you agree, just say amen! Psalms 18:30 says, “As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him. He is my refuge; when I feel like I’m backed into a wall, I can run to Him.”
